John Dory's

I've been to this establishment on the 17th February 2026, with my family of 4, for brunch, to celebrate my hubby's 40th birthday. My o my, we where greeted and welcomed by a very friendly manager on duty, (Mr...... ), I'm sorry I forgot his name😑 We where taken care off by a very lovely waiter, by the name of Moh, she was just great, from her mannerism to everything about her. Orders where taken, specials where explained, food and drinks arrived quick, no stories, everything was just perfect.I even told Moh it was hubby's birthday and she went beyond herself n presented our dessert so beautifully decorating the plate to make hubby's birthday memorable even getting the manager n other staff to sing. We felt like home. John Dorys, Wilsons wharf, you guys are awesome. Can't wait to join you'll again. Keep it up👍

Food. Lovely, fresh and weel cooked. Prawns was.not so bad. Needed abit for time on fire to be better. Other than that all is good. Service. Very good. Well cared for and exceptional. Atmosphere. You sit right to the water and eat. And have a good view of the boat cruises going out to sea, and lots of fish swim near the piers where you sit.

Aphile gave us such best service! She deserves waiter of the year!

Wow, what tantalising sea food meal we had after a long time. This restaurant is worth the wait for the Chef to prepare such a delicious sea food meal.

We really loved the food. It was served Fresh and we didn't have to wait long The staff is on the ball and very friendly. The view is peacefull

We had the special fish and chips - voted excellent by our party of three. My dessert was not good, I could not eat it as it was too salty. I explained this to the waitress when she took my plate. To my surprise, the cost was deducted from our bill. Well done, John Dory's - that doesn't often happen, especially when I just mentioned the reason I had not eaten the dessert and did not make a fuss about it.

Lovely menu selection we all tried something different and really enjoyed it, my husband loved the mussles.
